Sony's latest premium smartphone Xperia XZ1 has taken signals from the company's first 2017 flagship, Xperia XZ premium. It has got a solid build quality, latest snapdragon processor, long battery life and capable camera. It is also clear that Sony has not yet reached that goal to complete its flagship device Xperia XZ1 is Sony's exclusive rectangular design. It is different from other phones available in the market, which shows more rounded corners. In case of thickness it is only 156 grams weighing and 7.4 mm. When all-metal designs and soft matte finishes, Xperia XZ1 seems solid at first glance. On the right side of the phone there is a power button, volume rotation, and a dedicated camera shutter button. 've always liked a camera shutter button because it's easy to launch the camera by pressing this button and capturing the moment. Like some Xperia phones, the fingerprint scanner on Xperia XZ1 is placed below the power button. This is a clever situation to unlock the phone - and I found it to be fast and responsive. A USB Type-C port can be seen below, the single camera lens sits on the top left corner, and the micro-Xperia logo is in the middle, the SIM is on the left side of the device and the home of the MicroSD card slot. Like every Xperia phone, this device also has IP 68 dust and water resistance. The audio experience on Sony Xperia XZ1 will be better than the competition, thanks to its front-speaker which speaks loudly and clearly in my testing. 3.5 mm headphones have also been included, which is a big plus point.

On the front, Xperia XZ1 has a 5.2-inch, full HD (1920 x 1080) display. The Corning Gorilla 5 saves the screen, it's not a 18: 9 screen like the Samsung Galaxy S8 or iPhone X. Still, the screen is very good to watch movies and videos. It shows good color, contrast and viewing angle. The display works fine even outside the panel.

Yes, I am a believer in Sony's minimalistic design approach but unfortunately it's time to accept reality. At the age of "bezel-less" design trend, phones such as iPhone X, Galaxy Note 8 and Mi Mix 2have low-bezel-mounted and edge-mounted displays. But Xperia XZ1 is a flat top and bottom-sticks-resulting in a dated design. But we are sure that Sony's next high-end smartphone will not look like Xperia XZ1. The company has confirmed that its next phone will have a new design.

Operated by Qualcomm's latest Octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB RAM, Xperia XZ1 is a fairly capable device.

In fact, Sony Xperia XZ1 has a lot of specification in the form of the Galaxy S8 (the Xinos 88 9 5 SOC is used in the Indian version) and the HTC U11. Performance-wise, it handled everything I threw away. I was able to play graphics-intensive games such as Asphalt 8: Airborne and Real Racing 3 without problems. I was surprised that the phone did not get hot after a long lasting session of 8th.

The camera sees a major improvement over the Sony Xperia XZ1, although it still uses a camera lens that includes 19 MP sensors with back camera F / 2.0 aperture, electronic image stabilization, laser autofocus and predictive phase detection . The camera is capable of taking good shots in daylight, especially on the road.

Overall, Xperia X2 is a well-made phone that looks good in hand and has a good camera.
